THE CONCEPT

The Millennium|Trilogy|Project concept is based on the Swedish Millennium books written by Stieg Larsson.

John van Heugten is an enormous fan of these Millennium books. He read all the books many times. John liked the different storylines that evolve through the books.

​

In every act of the Millennium|Trilogy|Project, John takes one of the storylines of the books. This storyline is then adapted by John into a new stand-alone story. The writing of the lyrics and music is a continuously process.

When enough material was written for the first album, John contacted some of the great vocalists and musicians he knew to ask them if they were willing to contribute to an album. That’s where the Millennium|Trilogy|Project came to live!!
